The area is famous for its picturesque landscape which once inspired artists ‘The Group of Seven’. Spanning almost 4,000 km2, there’s endless possibilities to scope the fall foliage. Keep an eye out for deer, moose and hawks as you take in the sights!

This long stretch of road spanning the northern end of Cape Breton Island shows its best fall colours in the first two weeks of October. Make a stop in Cape Breton Highlands National Park with a picnic and a camera to really take in the magic. Take your car along Highway 10, running through Riding Mountain National Park, for the perfect combination of flora and fauna.
