Important Update regarding COVID-19

A message from our President & CEO

Our family of local OK Tire Store owners, who live in the communities they operate in across Canada, are here to help when you need it.

At OK Tire we understand the uncertainty that everyone is feeling in relation to the current COVID-19 situation. From the very onset of this serious situation our number one priority has been, and will continue to be, the safety of all our customers and staff across the country. We want to emphasize that we are in this together, and that we are here for you when you need us.

Auto service has been designated an essential service by provincial governments across the country. We’re here for all the essential service workers including doctors, nurses, public health care, grocery, pharmacy, logistics, and many other workers, and we want to recognize and thank them for the incredible work they’re doing to keep all of us safe and supplied with the items we need to get us through this.

We know we have a great responsibility to ensure that those who need to get to work are able to do so safely. Many Canadians need to get to the grocery store, pharmacy or to drop off supplies to family who may be isolated or in need of support.

We will help to keep essential service vehicles such as ambulances, police, and food and medical supply vehicles on the road. We are here for our delivery service fleet customers, to help farmers stay in the fields, and for anyone else who depends on their vehicle to get them where they need to be during this difficult time.

Like many businesses around the nation, we are closely monitoring and adjusting our operations daily. While we cannot control the severity or unpredictability of the current situation, we have taken preventive practices to limit the spread and impact of COVID-19. Our stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices across the country have implemented recommended precautions from local health agencies across Canada. In some cases this means reduced hours or “by appointment only” service. Please contact your local OK Tire store directly to find out the latest store hours and information.

Our thoughts are with all of our fellow Canadians and with everyone around the globe who has been affected by this terrible situation. We urge our neighbors, friends, associates, and fellow members of our community to practice physical distancing and listen to the direction of our health professionals.

We are all in this together.
