OK Tire Stores Inc. has been part of the Canadian landscape since 1953 and has grown to over 300+ locations in Canada. Our Corporate Office team is also GROWING – we are now adding this New Role to our Business Operations!

We are looking for an administrative extraordinaire! If you like getting hands-on with a variety of projects & responsibilities this is the role for you. 2 Key main focuses will be Conference Planning & Board of Director planning while other projects will come about organically.

Location: South Surrey (192nd and 21st Avenue)

Snapshot of what your position will deliver on:

Board of Directors/Executives – Handle all deliverables associated with Board of Directors meetings (4 times a year throughout Canada, plus various conference calls) including; venue, room blocks, food services, special evening events, minute taking, tracking and distribution of all documentation, expense report tracking and submission

Annual Corporate Conference – Working with an event planning company you will be responsible for coordinating, managing and overseeing all aspects of an annual corporate conference for over 500 attendees including but not limited to; Venue selection, budget and contracts, conference launch information, sponsorship packages, registration process, and communication pieces to all attendees (staff, sponsors, and business partners).

Project/General Support – Manage a variety of special projects/tasks that may arise throughout the year for any of the senior management members that may include; data generation; report creation, communications, mail outs, etc. Business analytics; coordinate projects, manage timelines, gather/analyze information. Administrative tasks – formatting, proofreading, document and letter creation etc. Managing the corporate expenses for the four executives, travel planning, etc. Some travel will be required throughout the year to Board meetings & Annual Conference.

Your arsenal of skills/experience includes:

  • Business Administration and or Conference Planning certification or equivalent experience (3-5 years).
  • 3-5 years of project/business administration experience.
  • Intermediate level working knowledge – Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft suite, Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Project management and business analysis expertise (gathering requirements, developing technical and functional specifications, etc.)
