Touchdowns for Communities
Supporting youth football at a community level from coast to coast.

OK Tire, in partnership with Blackhawk Tires and the CFL, established the
Touchdowns for Communities
program.

Since 2022, funds raised allow provincial football organizations to grow female programs, enhance flag football, support minor football leagues for youth, and enhance the training and development of players, coaches, and officials in local communities nationwide.

Henoc Muamba joins the Football New Brunswick 2024 flag football camp & awards
On January 20th 2024, we invited Touchdowns for Communities ambassador, Henoc Muamba to help kick off the year’s first TDC event in Saint John, New Brunswick, where he shared his passion for the game and inspired the local youth football players.

Henoc brought along his lighthearted encouragement to Football New Brunswick’s camps, reminding the players about their ability to stay the course and develop long careers in the way of his own. His momentum continued into the evening as keynote speaker at Football NB’s annual awards ceremony, celebrating their top athletes and volunteers!

The heart of OK Tire lives within Canada’s local communities. That’s why we partnered with the CFL to create the Touchdowns for Communities program powered by Blackhawk Tire, which supports the growth of youth football players across the country.

With the help of Touchdowns for Communities, L’Association de Football Mineur de Jonquière (Jonquière Minor Football Association) gathered local football fans for a lively evening supporting youth football. 🏈

Representing Team OK Tire, Henoc Muamba dropped in to mingle with the locals and bond with the players. 🙌 Aiming to highlight the positive impact of youth participating in both academics and sports, Henoc’s inspiring speech had the energy in the room mirroring that of a united football team – capturing a sense of camaraderie that you only find amongst good company.

These moments serve as the perfect reminder for why OK Tire, Blackhawk Tire, and the CFL created Touchdowns for Communities. 💛 By fostering a sense of kinship and care for our youth, we can put them on the path of excellence both on and off the field.

In 2022, $50,000 was contributed to support the “Touchdowns for Communities” program.

This investment by OK Tire and Blackhawk Tires represents a dedication to supporting youth football at the community level from coast to coast.
